Anyone having trouble downloading MMS on a Samsung S2 (Meteor)?
I’ve changed the setting and everything but I’m having no joy.
@runt or any other IT guy.
I’m trying to watch the Leinster Final on my PC here in work. The player is working but the picture is completely out of focus as if it is zoomed in, this happens on you tube videos also, basically all media streaming.
Is there a setting I’m Missing or something I need to download?

Computerheads. Someone I know needs a new computer asap (tomorrow morning). I’m looking for the most simple, foolproof computer on the market. It needs email and word and fuck all else. And the keys should be as far apart/large as possible. All advice welcome.

What’s a decent tablet thingy and how much we talking? Are they any good?
Google Nexus 7 inch would be the standard run of the mill tablet.
I went with a cheaper androic option as I knew it would be fucked around the place. Its called a Sumvison Cyclone Voyager. The speakers are shite on it but apart from that it seems to do everything else that my brother in laws Nexus does.
I use it very little to be honest but I dont have much spare time these days so not a great comparison.

Are they basically smart phones without the phone? Can you use things like word or open pdfs and make notes etc?
They generally aren’t a laptop replacement unless you go for something like the Surface Pro.
Most will have PDF readers. If you have Quick Office then you can use word etc. They are just like a large phone without the 3g capability. What would you be looking for it to do?
Mainly net and apps I suppose. Music/movies/NFL streaming. But I would like the option to use word if possible but not a must.
Any standard Android tablet will do that for you I’d say. Nexus 7 at top end as KP says. Don’t buy cheap though as cheap Androids are shite.
It sounds ridiculous but that cheap Tesco tablet is supposed to be decent.

It’s their own brand but Archos manufacture it I think.
