Question for the techies

Unilateral decisions like that are contrary to the Xmas ethos of togetherness. Such a decision would lead to an earlier start on the other Xmas tradition of arm to arm family combat.

Or you just didn’t put any on your own plate?

we haven’t had a turkey in years. Roast Ham and a Roast Beef. Why force yourself to cook something most people only endure

I’m in the minority I’m afraid. Everyone else loves the thing. And the shaggin’ turkey curry for days after

The turkey is great if you have dogs. The amount of waste off it

I took soundings and it was agreed nobody likes turkey but ate it out of tradition.

If we kept doing the same thing only because we always did it we’d still be in caves throwing shit at each other. Or in Limerick.

Went with beef and ham.

Game changed.

which meat do you do the gravy off?

The beef

yeah, same as. It might seem a strange mix but they complement each other. It just works.

There’s very little left over either with a decent sized cut of both even

If turkey was nice it would be a more than once a year meat for most people.

Funny you should raise Limerick and ham side by side yet somehow ends up being derogatory.

Our ham is the caviar of the bacon world

its fish eggs?

Pure luxury

You need the carcase for the turkey soup St. Stephens day.

A Stephen’s Day tradition as true as watching horse racing and hiding from wren boys
