Rate Wedding Venues Food

Donā€™t be such a smart ass. All I said was that I was sorry to hear it was getting bad reports. As regards what Iā€™m happy or not happy to eat, how the fuck can you tell from my post that I ate there at a wedding seven years ago ffs.

Had a wedding there about 6 years ago. A summer wedding . Very nice location for that time of year. Food was also good.

We could have guessed you were marrying a horse of a woman without you actually telling us, pal.

As far as I know they use outside caterers which may vary.

ah lovely

Very nice there in the sun on Saturday indeed.

I think Iā€™ve had 7 or 8 weddings in the armada it has ranged from pretty good to awful.

Excellent spot. My own shindig was there and been there for another 3 or 4. Always enjoyed it

Ben there once a year back. Canā€™t remember the food as we had a massive session and singsong with cousins before and after. Had to bail at 2am

Agree on Castle Durrow. Lovely spot. Wineport, Hodson Bay good too.

Only poor one I remember was river court in kilkenny but that was ages ago

Sister got married there last year. Ended up in Supermacs a couple of hours after the meal. All bling pure shite after that

I remember that one as it was a sisterā€™s wedding too.

Back in tankardstown house in a few weeks for the second time. Very good if I remember correctly.

Are you my brother by any chance?

Ah fuck. Iā€™ve a wedding there in a frtnight

The year I got married we went in there for a look. Their minimum was 22 punts a head for a buffet and if all guests werenā€™t sitting by 5. 30 it would have cost us an extra tenner a head. Fucking rip off. Ended up in the Newpark and had a fine day. 150 sitting down. Beef or Salmon, wine included. Cost 3500 punts for the meal and drinks. Great day, but that was before Flynn took it over.

I was there recently. It wasnā€™t bad at all. The reception area was a bit all over the shop. Food was grand from what I remember, nothing spectacular but definitely not bad.
