Excellent idea @anon67715551 but my multi tasking skills are not what they used to be and to be honest there’ll be enough snide comments flying around the house on the big day to keep me on my toes. There’s a lot of scepticism about my ability to pull this off round these parts due to an unfortunate (unrelated to my cooking) bout of gastroenteritis that broke out one Christmas night. An aul spinster aunt of mine went behind my back and got a sample of the turkey tested for salmonella. So you’ll appreciate the pressure I’m under but I’ll endeavor to give updates where possible

Roast Duck that I got in Lidl, broccoli, mashed turnip and roast potatoes cooked in the duck fat. Lovely feed.
