Lovely bit of tea there. Homegrown veg and a nice majorero cheese from Sheridans in Galway.

There’s something grand about being able to walk out into the garden and pick a head of cabbage and a few spuds for the dinner. Twice in one week, so it’s fair to say that I’m a savage for bacon and cabbage.

That was what this thread was made for

It won’t win any beauty contests, but I’ve skulled three Estralla Galicia 660s before and during preparing this and I wouldn’t swap it for anything, I did eat another 4 sausages afterwards :man_shrugging:

Don’t worry Twill be enough to keep the nets on your Like trawler bulging …

Fatten a few banbhs and you’ll have the full dinner.

There’s something grand about being able to go walk into the pantry and pick the ingredients for a few pancakes

Would you not keep the berries in the fridge?

You want berries, I’ll give you berries…

For sure. North Clare / South Galway (and North East Galway) is God’s country for proper living. In another few weeks, I’ll be making a dawn raid down to Derrybrien to knock a deer for the freezer.
