The green beans with chilli from M&L is one of the best dishes I’ve ever tasted. I visited an eatery serving regional dishes from Chongqing this week. I was delighted to see the dish on the menu, and thought…three hours from Sichuan, these guys might just get it right. I was mistaken.

Cut 2 slices of New York style Rye Sourdough
Grill 4 rashers, you can grill the bread at the same time
prepare leaves of lettuce and slice up a tomato
Butter the toast and then arrange the lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise on one slice, load the rashers on the other slice. Then fold them together. I like to cut it in half to make it less messy when you are ateing it
Only a confident lad like yourself would be able to add his own twist to a recipe to improve it.
