Thank you, I was only in for a CT scan , went down to the restaurant afterwards and the fare looked appetising, thereās cabbage and stuffing there too. I declined the gravy.
Where are you in? I had to stay in mater private overnight a few years ago. The breakfast the next morning was off the charts but not really conducive to a healthy institution

I done three weeks in hospital when I was 13. I thought the food was unreal until the salt delivery didnāt come in one morning.

The Private Hospitals are different class.
I remember devouring the breakfast in Whitfield Clinic the morning after I had my ACL done. The (extremely hot) nurses couldnāt do enough for me when Iād ring the bell for morphine either.
The Bons in Cork used to have a fine spread for visitors. Not sure if thatās still the case.
Youād be lucky to get a cup of tea in the public hospitals.

The food in Beaumont hospital is a fucking disgrace. In fact Beaumont hospital is a disgrace full stop.
I spent over a week there in October but they wouldnāt let me eat anything, maybe they did me a favour?
