I’d ate that
Nice looking pan, is it the scanpan that somebody was raving about a while back?
weird
Looking for a new pan mate, I thought we were a helpful community?
I guess we are but asking an oddball in the states what kind of frying pan he uses just doesn’t sit right with me
@mac has created an internet persona as the go to guy for inane queries mate so yes he should create a dedicated thread
It is indeed, I was the one raving about scanpan. Excellent gear, use the wok 3 or 4 times a week and not a scratch on it*. A quick rinse in the sink and a wipe of a dish cloth and it’s good to go again.
*Some cunt will no doubt do an electron microscopy analysis of the pic and find a scratch.
And to think that @Little_Lord_Fauntleroy would have started a thread to ask mac for advice on buying a premium frying pan.
You have a scratch on your wok and have probably been eating flakes of highly carcinogenic heavy metals in your rather nice looking stir frys.
A Scanpan is impossible to scratch. The surface (ceramic-titanium) is the same as the material used on the outside coating of the space shuttle, and I’m pretty sure the conditions in my kitchen aren’t quite as severe as atmosphere re-entry.
Did the shop assistant tell you that?
Any proof ?
It’s on their website mate, they licensed the technology from NASA.

Come on pal, we all saw what happened the space shuttle. That was more than a scratch.

That’s because you have a shitty oven. @hbvs oven could melt a space ship.
Is that Ravioli?
It looks amazing
Yeah, I made it myself, stir fried veg with herb encrusted salmon
