Ravenous Part Deux, the cheap likes thread

If there was an authentic Japanese restaurant around I probably would.

What’s an ex-pat?

They have far better quality radioactivity in Japan.

Head shot

@backinatracksuit have you heard of a place called Blair’s Cove down in West Cork, around Durrus direction?

My parents were there recently, and said it was quite an experience. You could have an array of starters, and the mains were top notch.

My mother showed me a picture of the spread my auld lad was going tucking into. You could see the big roaster buttering a slice of brown bread while all the gourmet food was beside him.

Jesus, the internet is a right cunt. It’ll fuck you up every time if you’re not careful.

You’re not talking to a roaster here mate, in a discussion about Japanese food in Cork you narrowed it down to the quality of the sashimi grade fish that might be available in Cork, as if that’s all that the cuisine of Japan involves.
There’s a chef working a takeaway at the bottom of Barrack street who has been recognised as one of the finest in Ireland, he cooks very excellent Japanese food as anybody who’s tasted it will I’m sure testify, the opinion of anyone who hasn’t isn’t worth a shit.

Yeeeew.

What’s the name of this place?

Fucksake.
The discussion was about your pal @Fagan_ODowd’s experiences eating sushi (which was likely sashimi) in Cali.
Keep the fuck up.

Yes honreal.

They have a buffet table for starters and a bbq for the meats out in the resteraunt area. Its a long way down but worth the spin.

It was featured on neven maguire one night
