Yeah. The family are away so I’m fending for myself, just chips, no meat or veg or anyrhing else, I just had more to make up for that.
The oil needs to be changed too, but fuck it that made them extra tasty.
It’s not the chefs, sushi / sashimi isn’t hard to make. It’s the freshness of the fish, and most places outside of Japan you will pay for that. Sushi in Japan is outrageously good, outside of Japan most places would be the equivalent of generic supermarket sushi (although Whole Foods sushi is very good and better than a lot of restaurants). Exceptions would be cities where there’s large Asian populations and big demand for quality, US west coast, NYC, Sydney/Melbourne.

Cork roasters really showing themselves up here, not a fucking clue what sushi grade fish means.
Is it the radioactivity that makes the Japanese fish better or what? Maybe if you used only fish caught in the Irish Sea it’d help?

Typical roaster attitude to assume that Japanese food is nothing but raw fish, and that sushi is raw fish
I love an avocado sushi.
When you’re speaking to roasters, you have to use their language mate. Sashimi = raw fish, Sushi = pickled rice with vegetables and maybe fish. No point confusing them. Choco and the rugby lad probably full of worms from eating raw fish from the fishmonger.
Billy big balls heads down to cali for the weekend and pays a weeks wages for some special sushi and is an expert all of a sudden. You couldnt make it up
