Fried potatoes with Parmesan and lemon, baked cod and a seafood spring roll from the fishmongers, lemon butter sauce and a little sweet chili

Their oysters are shipped from Clarinbridge mate. I’m having a few myself tomorrow night.

Those Denby plates are fair heavy

That plate is a joy to behold. I reckon if you put up that plate every day with even a piece of broccoli on it beside burnt fish fingers you’d get a nice post award every time. Any idea where the plate was got?

The mother has a full set of delf like this. It was the 80s equivalent of denby. Every house had a set.

A plate like that was a great way to seperste the haves from the have nots, back in the day. Not realizing that would be akin to to admitting yourself to be from a long line of auld peasants.

Crumbed chicken breast (which I know is decent as Mrs Fitzy is the QA manager where it was produced), mashed spuds as I like them and baby carrots, broad beans and five color chard (all picked from the garden 30 minutes ago) fried in our own garlic. Nice Wolf Blass shiraz, fucking lovely
