Ravenous
a discussion about food that turns into how you set aside time each week to go to a certain shop/market, are you really that boring that the fact that you set aside some time to go to a certain shop is something that you need to share

another thing that is perplexing me is that you seem to be alluding to the fact that you eat certain foods while you train & seem to imply that you take your training/lifestyle seriously

correct me if im wrong but you dont even play stick hurling or rugby at a decent level but you seem to be talking on a few threads as if your some sort of decent sportsman- the fact is that your not- youre far from it- you play minority sports & your bad at them, further to that i would have a smidgen of respect for you if you were a layabout/drunk/fat fuck & played at that level as that would suggest hat you have talent but dont give a shit- unfortunately it appears that you give a shit but your not talented

to summarize - you disgust me
your a gas ticket

I wish you’d get a return ticket away from this forum.

I’m guessing now Dump a little but i reackon you ate 250-300 for breakfast, 700 for lunch and 800-900 for dinner.
So about 1850 lets say. The average intake for a man in shape usually should be about 2,500. Now that can vary from person to person. I found you a good site here for getting you a good idea for yourself, this is why Puke was asking your height and weight.
http://nutrition.about.com/library/bl_nutrition_guide_men.htm

If your not carrying any weight then your probably loosing too much if you play sport and are taking in less than the 2,500, thus making yourself weaker, and maybe unbeknows to yourself your underperforming.

If you happen to be doing weights as well your really stressing yourself out, and your muscles won’t be getting the fuel they need.

Twould be alright, would train/play a match about 5 times a week otherwise I would be carrying a nice bit of weight, if I got injured or stopped training for a period of time the weight goes on fairly handy, but wouldn’t have too much bother losing it/keeping it off, fierce fond of my food and drink and would eat 4 square meals a day easily…

Wouldn’t a return ticket just bring me back here:confused:

What if they were circular - would you eat them then?

I would but if they were triangular I would have second thoughts

oh dear, massive slip from our transport spokesman

Thanks Kev you’ve given me some food for thought (pun intended).

I probably should be taking in more as most days i’m guessing i’d take in about 2,000. But to compensate i go mad every few days (like yesterday) and take in ridiculous amounts. I can’t seem to find a middle ground…

Today:

 • A panini with cajun chicken, swiss cheese, lettuce and a little bit of coleslaw followed by a rasberry muffin at 12.30pm.
 • A Goodfellas spicy chicken pizza at 8.30pm.
 • A brunch at 10pm.

Oh jesus. You’d have more respect for me if i wasted my talent, interesting.
I’m certainly no world beater at any sport, but i most certainly don’t have to justify myself to you. I look after myself much better these days than i may have in my early-mid 20’s. But i did study Sports NCC, so my interest in looking after myself stems from there. I have probably played levels above what others of my abilty would have, because i worked hard.

Maybe you should consider working hard yourself, or are you too 'mong’ed from all the weed.
You seem awfully interested in me though NCC, nobody else bats an eyelid at what i said, i’m just sharing information.

You waste of space.

Donnybrook Fair?

Mistake i made in my early 20’s Puke. Injury should mean you look after yourself even more. Going up and down in weight will shorten your career, and maybe even your life. So if the unfortunate does happen i’d have a look at that.

you studied sports & now you train a kids stick hurling team, seems well worth it

as i said working really hard & giving it your best & still playing at a shit standard isnt something to boast about

Just did the test there and apparently to maintain my current weight without exercise i can take in 2,700 calories per day…

I’m having another pizza.

listen to him puke & someday you might drop down a few levels & play at his standard:rolleyes:

still higher than LOI

Im on my way:D

Pour moi:

I have the week off work so slight change in my routine

 • breakfast at around 12pm of two Weetabixs and two slices of toast
 • dinner at around 4pm of two battered fillets of cod with potato and carrots
 • quarter pounder with cheese, chips and a can of club orange at around 8.30pm
 • cup of tea with milk a day over its use by date (tasted alright)at around 9.45pm

I played the same level as Puke. I’m about 8-9 years older too if my calculations are right.
What do you play? And what level?
