It was a deep fried roast duck with orange sauce. I’d rather a pizza anyday.
How is it a deep fried and roast duck? Did you roast it then deep fry it?
I didn’t do anything to it. Some chinese bloke looked after the cooking, i looked after the eating.
Duck is a vastly overrated bird , duck and goose.
Ah duck is nice for a change lads. I’m a big fan.
I’ve purchased a T-Bone Steak and plan to devour it later on.
That is all.
No fan of duck. Ate a savage aul steak there last night, blood flowing from it as I cut teh boy open, you need to have a bit of blood coming out of it, the only way to ate a steak.

Can’t for the life of me understand the principle of paying someone for a serious lump of bone (no double ententres please).
When it comes to steak, you cannot beat a Filet or a Filet Mignon.

A fillet is yer only man. Watch the butcher cutting it in front of you, “a lil bit more there, nope bit thicker, thats the spot, give me a big thick piece there will ya”.
Yours in innuendo,
MBB.

Shadow, the best meat is on the bone.
The Charcoal grills finest large chicken donor kebab and large chips winging it’s way to me as I speak. You just can’t beat junk food when you’re as sick as a pig from beer.
I am after rustling up a savage beef stir fry.
Just eating a curry chip here myself. Sublime.
just waiting on the dominos scooter
ham, pineapple & steak pizza, garlic bread and 2 portions of chicken strippers with garlic & herb & honey & mustard sauce:popcorn:

Just back from Donnelly’s in Barna. Have heard good things bout this place for years.
Had the chowder to start. Not too much fish in it which for a seafood restaurant is unforgiveable really. Rosanna had some crabmeat wrapped in smoked salmon. That was gorgeous.
Mains I had monkfish wrapped in bacon with some rice - gorgeous
Davison had the steak. Fillet steak. Quality. Chips were really good too and the Guinness tho a bit cold was nice. Salad was really good.
All in all a quality feed.
They do a 55 for two, bottle of wine - main & starter or desert plus tea or coffee. Well worth it.
Went to McSwiggans ladies day. Same chowder and monkfish combo. Last couple of times I went it was average but last week it was superb.
