Homemade burgers with homemade spicy wedges and corn on the cob this evening
I have come to the conclusion that unauthentic chinese food is the worst shite being served in restaurants. I was at a work do last night at a chinese restaurant and never had such crap placed down in front of me.
I hate the illuminous red sugar laced syrup they serve up in a lot of the poor Chinese take aways. The local one at home has always been shit, regardless of who owned it.
For the first time in ages I got a Chinese in Tipp last week and I must say it was probably the nicest Chinese take away I’ve had in Ireland. Beef Scehzuan, it was a proper fresh sauce, you could see the garlic, chilli etc that had been chopped up into, and it wasn’t too thick. Top marks.
I have said it once and I will say it again - Scehzuan is the job
A good scehzaun is the job, but they vary so much from place to place you just never can be sure what you’ll get.
I had some feed in Mulcahys of Clonmel earlier - vegetable soup, a stew with a few scoops of mash and cheese cake afterwards…
What was the feeding like at the coursing Dunph that example seems mighty ???
I hope you didn’t back that dog I was told about !!!
Mulcahys do a good carvery, i ate well in there every evening after coursing. That dog was rubbish.
A few lamb chops with a hint of mint sauce this evening… tasty enough. Grand evening out, watching a young cow to calf here could be a another dinner wanted later in the evening…
Diarrhea for two days… Living on dry bread/toast and soup. Feeling good now, can wait for a proper feed tomorrow
Do you ever go to Sean Tierneys in Clonmel Dunph? A noble spot it is.
A pub? Can’t say i’ve ever been in there. I was in Chawkes a bit the last few days and Hearns nightclub at night for the golden oldies…
Its obviously some years since I used to go there, but its a great pub with mighty food.

What business had you being in Clonmel, Fitzy?
t bone and chips this evening
Had a T Bone last night, came from Burkes in Kinvara. Some cut of meat… I used to be Fillet man but that T Bone was something else.
I like T-Bone as well. Had bacon and cabbage this evening for dinner and a bowl of leftover stew with a few cuts of brown soda bread about two hours later. I’ve been eating celebrations all day as well and wouldn’t mind something else now, scrambled eggs maybe.
That’s good eating Dunph, did you heat the stew or eat it cold sometimes I like cold stew with brown bead for some reason as for your current hunger I suggest bacon sandwiched
I’d always have to heat it up, i’d have little interest in cold stew. Yes i might have a bacon sandwich now with some mustard…
