Sorry mate. I’m just a bit on edge.
would you lisiten to Jaime fucking Oliver here, aguy who had to watch Donal Skeehan to get instruction on how to make scrambled eggs
3 chicken breasts sliced thinly
4 cloves of garlic chopped
4 shallots chopped
3 chillies chopped
First brown the chicken, then remove from the pan, add back into the pan the garlic and shallots, cook until nicely browned, add back in the chicken along with the chilli, quick stir, add in about 1 tbsp of soy sauce, 2 tbsp of fish sauce, 1 tsp of sugar and cook for a further 5 minutes. While this is cooking dry roast some cashew notes and put on some noodles. Once the chicken is down add the cashew nuts and a handful of torn basil leaves. Mix in noddles and serve.
Lovely.
Where did you get the cashew notes?
So just had 2 scrambled eggs for breakfast…
Simple but tasty.
Just started reading Wheat Belly by William Davis. In parallel with this I am cutting out wheat completely for a month.
Good blog here for those of you struggling to lose the ‘wheat’ belly.
Just had ham, eggs, two types of cheese, olives, bread x 2, freshly squeezed grapefruit juice, some sort of cake, a pastry and a bowl of fruit with yogurt.
Savage continental breakfast.
You’ll be well motivated to hit the weights when you get back bro.
That will set you up for the day.

Bit pricey but by a distance best meal I ever had. Relaxed enough atmosphere there too. Highly recommended
Nice. I’d love to eat in one of his restaurants as his recipes are very fucking difficult. Ministry of Food this is not. That tomato thing is the only thing we’ve tried so far, despite there being an abundance of stuff that’d be savage to cook. Ingredients are a bit of a pain too…a lot of them use stuff you’d have to hunt around for. It’s food worth persevering with though. I’d be fairly certain if you ate that kind of food all the time you’d be healthy as fuck and would struggle to put on weight.
Spicy Chicken Mushroom Penne
Ingredients:
1/2 tsp Chilli Flakes
1 tsp Paprika
1 tsp ground Black Pepper
Dash of Soy Sauce
3 Scallions/Spring Onions.
1 Small Onion
150g Button Mushrooms
2 Chicken Fillets
Light Philadelphia
100g Penne
[]Add 200ml of water to a Frying pan and put on a hob at full heat.
[]3/4 Fill a Saucepan with water and put on a hob at full heat and bring to the boil.
[]Add the chilli flakes, paprika, black pepper, mushrooms, scallions, soy sauce and onion to the pan.
[]Leave to cook through for ~10 mins, stirring occasionally.
[]As this cooks, add the penne to the saucepan full of water, lower the heat slightly and stir occasionally.
[]Turn on your [in my case, George Foreman] grill and set the chicken grilling.
[]Next, add 75g of the Philadelphia to the frying pan and stir until it creates a creamy sauce with the ingredients.
[]When the chicken fillets are cooked add them to the frying pan.
[]Allow the contents of the frying pan to reduce as the penne cooks.
[]Serve on a plate with a fork and a pint of milk

I just checked in at the Radisson in Wroclaw, fly out in the morning. The breakfast is 17 euro but is going to be unreal. I’ve stayed Radisson before, everything you want and all you can eat with chefs there to cook what you want in front of you. I’m thinking of starving myself all day in anticipation of this feast.
Dunph would despair looking at some of the posts on this thread since he left.
It’s far from €17 breakfasts you were raised, kid.
Reminds me of this:
Any time you’re hungry, day or night,|Cook will make you anything you want.
-Even pork chops?|-Absolutely.
We’ve a tennis court-- If I want pork chops in the middle|of the night, he’ll fry them up? Sure.
That’s what he’s paid for.
|If you need towels-- Wait! Let me see if I got this right.
|It’s Christmas day, 4:00 a.m -there’s a rumble in my belly–|-Homer! -You sure love pork chops!|-He sure does, Uncle Herb.
Yes, I had that treat in the Radisson in Lodz a few years ago.
Made an absolute pig of myself.
I remember the chef leaving a cooked ham glazed with honey down in front of us at 8am in the morning.
Iv bought his book on foot of this recommendation. I shall endeavour to cook at least one recipe per week from it and report back
Just got fresh mushrooms from the field few onions from the garden…two big fillets of steak…dinner is going to be a good one
I tried this last week. Fucking gorgeous.
In other news, i’ve four portobello mushrooms stuffed with pepper tomatoes and chorizo downstairs. Can’t wait.
