Ravenous
I have a pack of sliced chorizo in the fridge too, pal. I was saving it for making this:

Looks good!

I like your blog too, pal! Few typos but expressions like , ‘fuck on the kettle’ and ‘lash in the chorizo’ is the type of terminology all cooking guides should use.
At a loose end today so about to get a stew going soon. I have some nice angus beef, parsnips, onion, garlic, fresh parsley, carrots, tinned tomatoes and tomato puree. And flour. And plenty of dried herbs and spices.

Any easy method? It’s years since I’ve done a decent stew and the only thing I remember is that Beamish is much nicer than Guinness if you want to make a nice Guinness Stew.
I’ve just finished putting a beef stew in the slow cooker. Went a bit experimental. No idea how it’ll turn out.

Yeah I enjoy that lad’s pretension-free style of cooking and restaurant reviewing. He has some great pasta dishes.

LovinDublin blog is gas shit. Someone linked it here before.

For stew, I made one last weekend myself.

Brown off the beef
Take it out of frying pan or whatever pot your cooking it in
Throw in the beamish, this pulls all the lovely burnt bits from meat off the pan for flavour
Fuck in all the veg and spices and a beef stock cube
Fuck back in the beef
Bring to the boil
Cover
Lash it into the oven for three hours about 160
After two hours throw spuds in on top

Drink the remaining five cans of beamish whilst your waiting for this to cook

That sounds a winner. I was googling a Jamie Oliver recipe and it was awful fussy.

I had spare ribs and cabbage during the week. Hadn’t had ribs in years, great mucking altogether. I’m gonna boil up a big pot of them during the week and eat until I get sick and then eat some more.

It’s Sunday so I just had a 4 egg omlette to start the day right, filled with onion, fresh chili, basil and a good smattering of Feta cheese. Nice stuff.

I’d say you fart a lot, bro?

I would do, yeah. But that’s not the kind of talk for this thread at all.

@Thrawneen , this lad is on fire

step 9 : “When the peppers are nice and soft fuck the potatoes in to the pot.”

He’s great, so he is. I’ll definitely be making that one at some point.

How did the stew go bro

T-bone, sausage, mushrooms, onions, potatoes, all done on the griddle pan, and broccoli done in the microwave. Smashing feed.

Top notch. It’s the Beamish that makes it. Fuck Guinness.

I used a bottle of O’Haras black stout in a steak and mushroom pie yesterday and it was lovely.

For a simple dinner you can’t bate, spuds, pork chops and beans.

Get fucked, dicko

Had a salad with a few cold slices of beef and a bit of mustard there. Hard to beat cold beef and mustard

#coolasmustard

I just had a serious lunch of mussels in a creamy garlic soup.
