Ravenous

A lot to be said for a nice Cumberland sausage
Getting dinners cooked for us all week by the grannies. The finest of home cooking. Lamb chops today with mashed carrot/parsnip*, mashed spuds, broccolli. Black forest gateaux to finish.

*eating the parsnip was difficult as I tried to wash the vision from my mind of @Mac taking it from the back.
Parsnips are a waste of time mate. Cucumbers are far better for you.

Won’t be long before you work your way up to butternut squash at this rate of going

Nah, too sweet for my palate

Surely you mean prostrate ?

No mate, if I did I would have typed prostrate. But I typed palate.

Not like the way you spelled mean ‘mesn’ when you first typed the post.

The fingers you have used to dial are too fat. To obtain a special dialling wand, please mash the keypad with your palm now.

Says bland Fran, a man so plain you can bank on it that you’ve probably only ever had Denny sausages or when feeling risqué you’ve gone for Tesco select flavoured ones…

Bavarian (bratwurst) sauasages, whole grain mustard and a side of sauerkrat accompanied with a pint of Ocktoberfest beer- Noble.

Italian sausage (made with spices and fennel) add to any pasta dish- Noble.

Chorizo… I wouldn;t know where to begin with this one, it can be put in almost any dish or had cold with cheeses etc- Noble.

Salami, cumberland, Toulouse and even lamb links are all- Noble.

Sausages and pasta  with a jar of Ragu poured over it I suppose.

No. I make my own gravy, pal.

You’re another simple country man I see who thinks sausages should be eaten in a roll:rolleyes:… I can see you and Fran now in Santa Ponsa, pink and white in blotches, sitting in an Irish bar the morning after the night before, mucking into an Irish breakfast thinking ‘this is the life pal, and those mugs on TFK have their sausages with pasta’ -lols all round…

I will not have a bad word said about my beloved Santa Ponsa. Go fuck yourself, Renton (what happened the guns smiley???)

Read back on my posts, fuckhead. I don’t think sausages should be eaten at all.

And it would be an honour to be sat in a bar with Francis sharing a laugh and a joke.

I have no interest in what hicks like you and Francis have to say on culinary matters. Next you’ll be telling me not to eat fruit because of the fructose content

Carryharry not up to scratch as a bessier?

I’m very worldly, mate and you will lead a lesser life if you ignore my culinary advice. When you’re done dipping bratwurst(which even the Germans admit are shit, and German food is as bad as it gets) into your beer and chopping denny sausages into ready made pasta dishes, drop me a line and I’ll look after you.

Someone told me recently that I shouldn’t be eating fruit after 10am.
The same lad was buying 5 sausage rolls from centra at the time.

@Horsebox has given @Mark Renton a schooling here. Renton should stick to selling olives to the lads down the docks.

Probably a good deal on 5 I’d say?
