Ravenous

A well done steak. Chips and a portion of curry sauce will do you you fucking roaster. And trifle for desert

And what will yer ma have while she’s with me?

Calling me a roaster and you the one always eating portions of curry sauce and chips.

I don’t know what they are and no i’m not eating them.

@Tess Tickle having the living shit kicked out of him here

Yup! Taking the conciliatory attitude with a lad who’s “employed” as a clamper…
What have we come to in all fairness?

The good lady was off today so, after having a zesty and lustful roll in the hay for the morning, we strolled down in post-coital bliss to Vernon Avenue, Clontarf for lunch in Moloughney’s. I had the pulled pork in a blaa while she had a salad. We ordered a portion of chips between us. The pork was outstanding. Absolutely delicious. She enjoyed her salad but the chips were shocking. Worse than chips you’d get in a pub. Quite probably made earlier and microwaved.
For dessert (we were celebrating) I had the berry meringue thing and she had chocolate biscuit. Both adequate though nothing to write home about.
All in all, a pleasant experience and I’d definitely go back for the pulled pork.

1014 is next on our list.

Boojum burritos are fucking brilliant

Striploin going on the pan in a few minutes. Hand cut chips in the oven.

Fuck me but the Germans eat some dirt.

Just had roast pork (which wasn’t too bad) with potatoe dumplings. The dumplings were a fucking disgrace. The cunts around me are eating every sort of a miserable cut of meat you could imagine.

I’d murder a few hand cut oven chips right now

Just after a tuna tartare with avocado in a nice spot with a view of the Med. The accompanying chips with curry sauce were a little disappointing.

Indeed they’ve awful taste in food the Germans. I’d say they’d go mad for some oven chips over there if you threw them up in front of them.

@balbec
I know about pierogi, krokiety (my favourite) and golabki and guwamki (I know that’s spelt wrong). Can you recommend anything else that I should try in Krakow? The lads are going to be looking to me for answers when we hit an eaterie.

Damn straight Fran-who was the cunt on here that was arguing otherwise with me a few weeks ago when I was waxing lyrical about the Krauts and their horrific cuisine?

Meat Szashliks can be good. Mushroom soup or beetroot soup (barszcz), Zurek (sour with kielbaba in it). Definitely the pork chops (kotlet Schabowy)
Good spots to go in the centre include “miod i malina” and “Chlopskie Jadlo”.

Quick chipper question… what in the fuck is a wurly burger?

Fillet Steak Angus, with mushrooms, onions and baby potatoes. Savage

That’s a shocking article you are reading there…

Coq au vin, with asparagus, mash, and roasted baby potatoes, absolutely awesome. Apple and blackberry tart with custard for afters.

Chicken curry, noodles, sesame toast and a small pizza! Yurt.
