Ravenous

Do you still have your own little side business going Thraw or have you retired from that too?

I’m always open to PMs from gentlemen who may want something.

Pizza. Can be eaten cold at various times when you go to get a can out of the fridge to keep the edge off!!

Have you booked a weekend home yet?

That’s the secret of living in London. During the summer it’s much easier around Provincial finals or long weekends but book a weekend. When you are pissed off with shit over there, just book a weekend home …makes the other weekends on the lead up more bearable.

Roast chicken, potatoes, mashed carrots & parsnips, turnip, stuffing and I made gravy that I would drink pints of. Followed that with a Chocolate Orange ice cream cake from Lidl. I’m like a stuck pig here now so I am.

Tell me you roasted the potatoes, pal

Of course, Fran. Parboiled them then stuck them in the roasting dish with the chicken and basted them with the juice. Crispy deliciousness.

I had the very same myself last weekend, mate.

I bought a corn fed, free range chicken, bro-it was very tasty but cost €13.50. A bit steep for a chicken I can’t help but feel.

Unfortunately good food costs money mate.

Don’t ever feel guilty about eating well

As my Gandmother says " A good thing is never expensive"

Did you have half mash half chips and a portion of curry sauce on the side you roaster

Made a roast Ham for dinner yesterday evening. Glazed it in maple syrup and wholegrain mustard, it was superb. I just had two of the nicest Ham cheese onion and mustard toasties ever. They were unreal. Gonna finish off the Ham in a chicken and ham pie for dinner tomorrow.

Did you have gravy and mash with that?

Why would you put gravy on ham? And what else would you have with it other than mash?

Probably had curry sauce and chips with it

Ham can be awful dry. I love the bisto with onion granules myself. Drench the meat in it

Who would spend three hours cooking a ham and then have it with chips and curry ?
