Because chips and a portion of gravy or curry sauce go with everything.
Oven chips?
This thread is gone to fuck.
You should have been around for the glory days of lads shoveling chocolate oranges and Moros down their far gobs, now those men were giants.
Would it be worthwhile setting up a Cheese appreciation thread?
Just after a lovely bit of red leicester there

On a cheese related note I was about to open up this thread to say that I have recently discovered that throwing a dollop of cream cheese into a standard tomato or pesto pasta sauce tastes good and makes it lovely and creamy.

Red Leicester is fine bit of cheese, lovely on a cut of brown bread or in a turnover sandwich with a slice of ham
Fran knows his cheese
Putting creamy cheese into a sauce makes it creamy? No way?
I was wondering who’d be the first prick on to make a smart arse remark, I’m just disappointed it was you Horsey.
Sorry, buddy I couldn’t resist. I had actually opened the thread to say that I recently discovered that throwing a can of chopped tomatoes into a Bolognese tastes good and makes the sauce nice and tomatoey.
You bollox.
had a few pints after work in the local there, picked up a nice bit of fish and chips driving home, lovely
Did you eat it while driving home Tossy mate? Any curry sauce?
are you also posting while driving?
Just had some scallops which I seared in garlic butter-fucking delicious.
what are them scallops like? never had them, savage deal on morrisons last week, 10 for 2 quid or something
They’d be smashing with a side of chips and curry sauce Tossy mate.
Did a seafood pasta there. Crabmeat, 2 baked salmon fillets and prawns. Mushrooms, babycorn, a green pepper and a red onion baked in the oven with chilli and garlic. Sauce of chopped tomatoes, tomato puree, small glass of red wine and a couple of spoons of this delicious Natura e Bonta hot tomato paste I bought in the market yesterday. All fucked into a pot with some wholemeal pasta and mixed up. Nom nom nom nom nom…
