Ravenous

Ham, mushrooms, red pepper, spinach and cheese omelette just there. Lovely.

@Kinvara_s_Passion did you hear anything about this new Irish/American restaurant which has opened in Gort over the weekend?

I believe they will be doing an american brunch option. Should go down a treat with the locals

Didn’t hear a thing about it but i’ll be up there a the weekend and must take a look.

I’d love to see the business plan for that place…

Probably some drug lord laundering money.

I met the owner last week. From Tubber, recently back from the States where he managed bars and restaurants. Sound enough skin

Fair play to him. You know he’ll probably be a step ahead when it comes to the whole marketing and sales side of things so he’ll probably make a good go of it.

God knows, Gort needs some sort of a lift. The amount of dreary vacant commercial units around the place doesn’t make for pleasant viewing.

Dined in Burzza in Waterford tonight. It specialises in burgers - Bur and pizza - zza.
Shared starters, nachos and chicken wings. Had a burger in a calzone for the main, but the regular burgers were better. In fact they were outstanding. As good a burger as I’ve tasted in Ireland. Great spot. I’m as full as a tick after it, in fact.

Handful of Brazil nuts and a spoon of coconut oil mate

I just had 2 boiled eggs a can of tuna and a Benedictine bottle of tonic wine.

One step at a time.

Princess has a fantastic recipe for a homemade (some kind of) nut spread…i’ll fire it on… all good and natural.

I think it’s pronounced ‘gewter’.

One packet of Turkey mince, a carrot, egg, an onion, oats, herbs and spices and stuff -makes 4 turkey burgers. Had them with sweet potato wedges and a tomato and avocado salad.

Rios or Luigis mate?

Huh?

You seemed to be the only Limerick based poster not at the match and I was contemplating which chipper. Had Rios, greasy.

@Kinvara_s_Passion thinking of heading to north west Clare tomorrow. The Wild Honey isn’t doing food.

Can you recommend somewhere for Sunday Lunch in liscannor, Doolin, lisdoonvara, kinvara or fanore?

Would you tip on to Cassidy’s in Carron, pal? Lovely pizza and fresh fish… Noble pint of Guinness also.
