@Tassotti what is your preferred method of cooking salmon? Do you fry it, bake it or smoke the bastard?

Had salmon off the bbq in USA a few years back. Cooked on a beechwood plank. Very tasty.
dry fry it, exactly 3 minutes each side, its a method most Irish people would not be familiar with I expect, it means using no oil, just a hot pan

Had a tremendous steak salad from Chopped on Baggot St earlier.
Dinner tonight will be cajun salmon and avocado, rocket and parmesan salad with lime dressing.
how do you cook the salmon?
Oven roasted in tinfoil with cajun seasoning, lemon slices and a sprig of rosemary.
I use a cajun and oregano mix for my encrusted salmon that I eat every single day

Went to the new Zakura on Baggot St the other day. I got a bento box for 8.99 - I believe it’s their lunch special. It was very tasty and great value. Some sushi, tempura, beef and rice and a bowl of miso soup.

@bandage, Chopped is a block up from toners towards Stephens green. They have an app which makes it very handy to order from you desk and walk in and pick up your meal and feel very smug strolling back out past all the plebs standing in the queue going out the door.
