I feel awful today. Myself and Tournafulla Man went to the local chipper last night at 1am as we were feeling peckish, but alas it was closed. We then proceeded to drive to another town in order to satisfy our appetites. We went to a chipper i personally had not been in for many years. I decided to order a chip and two battered sausages. I didn’t notice anything until i returned to the car, but these battered sausages were no ordinary battered sausages - they were in fact jumbo battered sausages. Naturally, i was delighted with what i considered at the time to be a pleasant surprise. I proceeded then to polish off my meal. What happened next is something i hadn’t bargained for. About an hour later i wasn’t feeling great. When i woke this morning and even now i’m still not great. I can only describe the feeling as a feeling of being bloated. I would like this to serve as a warning to my fellow foodies on here of the consequences of eating two jumbo battered sausages in the early hours. Caution is advised.

Worded like an answer to a Leaving Cert Paper 1 question…

As an aside, does this not merit a review Dunph?.. Maybe it was the quality, name and shame…

I’m just reheating a nice fat chunk of lasagne that I made at the weekend.
Few homemade chips to go with it, washed down with a pint of Mi-Wadi Orange. Lovely.

Had a decent chinese there but still a bit too sick from booze to eat properly. Got some chips as well and they were fucking savage.

You really can’t beat a good bag of chips.

I’d be a big fan of the Walkers salt n vineger crisp. But you can’t beat a bag of tayto cheese and onion. A noble job altogether…

A loaf of fresh brown bread, some salami, Mitchelstown finest and a dollop of salad cream. Washed down by pot of very strong tea and a packet of fingers for afters…

Just to clarify. The girlfirend made spaghetti bolognese for dinner yesterday evening (I know, she’s going to hell) and made a extra portion for her fasting boyfriend to bring to work the next day.

The leftover from dinner quip was a bid to irk those on here who have a problem with people who bring their leftover dinners to work the next day.
