He said the advice was the family change wouldn’t have an impact on immigration etc. which was supported by AG letter.
And that the care referendum would have a meaningful impact through the courts, again supported by the letter.
But it’s almost impossible to get that messaging across in fairness. Everyone assumed the document was damaging and the perception couldn’t be changed. Though it made no difference to the outcome I’m sure.

The AG advice said it would be too complex for a court to decide a catch all for these new families. O Gorman lied when he said otherwise . No other term needed- he actually misled
