[quote=“Rudi, post: 755891, member: 1052”]A few Serie B players to keep an eye out for in the years to come. The first is Bruno Fernandes, he is an 18 year old Portuguese midfielder who looks like the new Rui Costa and plays for Novara. The second is Domenico Berrardi who is also 18 and plays as a striker for table toppers Sassuolo and has netted 10 goals this season. Both face off today in Serie B and both have netted with score at 2-2.
Has Dan Crowley been mentioned on here before? Apparently he was born in Australia to Irish stock and raised in England. He represented us at U-16 level but has since jumped ship to England. We need to do everything in our power to get this kid back, he is something else.

An Aston Villa trainee. Moved to Arsenal last year. An absolute class act. Represented ireland at u-15 I think then swapped over . We wont be getting him back I’d say.

Fernandes has netted his 3rd Serie A goal for Udinese away in Genoa today. Another one to watch out for is Udinese’s 17 year old goalkeeper Simone Scuffet who has established himself as their no.1 keeper in recent weeks. Italy have some superb young goalkeepers at the moment with Perin, Bardi, Leali and Scuffet.
There’s a young lad at United called James Wilson who is a decent prospect. Mainly used as a striker. Should get a chance in the first team next season, Giggs may even throw in for one of the last two games this season.
Lad from Donegal at Forest, Stephen McLaughlin. Signed from Derry City 16 months ago but only given his debut last week against Leeds. Looks a very good prospect.
I’ve mentioned him before on this thread, but Mathew Ryan looks like he has a number of larger european clubs interested in taking him from Club Brugge, currently second in the Juplier Pro League. 35 appearances for Brugge this season, including a 5 match clean sheet run. The former Central Coast Mariners keeper may well be the Socceroos first choice at the WC with Schwartzer retiring from international football. Hopefully the deluge of goals that Spain, Netherlands and Chile score against him will not dent his prospects. He’s an exceptionally nice young man, totally committed to what he does. He’d be a bargain buy for any team now. http://clubbrugge.be/en/players/first-team/players/mathew-ryan
Another hat-trick for Berardi tonight against Fiorentina. He now has 16 for the season, although this is quite skewed as 10 goals have came in 3 games against Sampdoria, Milan and Fiorentina and there are also a few penalties in there. Rossi also scored his first goal since returning from injury tonight.

Oh dear.
Youri Tielemans -Anderlecht midfield schemer, 17. Over 50 senior club appearances to date and a cert to make it at the highest level.
As a United fan, i follow the minors a good bit. Head and shoulders above everyone else, Tomothy Fosu Mensah is a majestic defensive mid who can also play Centre half.
15 year old Angel Gomes is the son of a former Portuguese pro. A fleet footed number 10 of slight stature, he’s already made the bench for the minors a few times this year.
Not much happening at OT outside of those 2. Most of the english lads will end up in the championship or the gossip column in the Sun.
Massimo Luongo - 22 - Australian, plays for Swindon Town in League One, but not for much longer. Player of the tournament in the Asian Cup, scored a cracking goal in the final, attacking midfielder.
