Republic of Ireland WNT - We're all part of Vera and Tony O'Donoghues Army

Yes - wily keeper buying time pretending not to hear whistle for the free.
For a minute i thought the ref might do a drop ball in the box

You’d have to say Irelands women are punching way above their weight when it comes to sport.

It had everything -free kicks from hand , ball thrown into the net , goal line scrambles where it seemed harder to miss … if this is a precursor to the World Cup games they will be epic … nothing can be ruled out once the whistle blows

Katie McCabe is a class player. She should give tutorials to men’s teams on how to take corners.

A great bit of gameswomanship

Except Katie Taylor.

She’s punching at her natural weight

I’m always a little bit susprised we’re not a bit stronger at womens basketball though, it seems to have good participation numbers outside the GAA and soccer.

a load of them went to Australia and walked straight into starting AFLW teams also.

One of them is playing, managing, coaching, physio, a new mom and writing a column all at the same time.

Jaysus, thats mad. She must be from a great place.

The FAI have come out and apologised for the RA chanting last evening.

Pathetic.

It’s fairly bad. As bad as the Limerick goons singing Sean South

Ireland should start their first round group in the finals on minus six points as punishment.

Shame on @locke for bringing this up. I wonder has he some ulterior motive.

“we sang a hundred songs and that’s the one that went out”. I’d like to know what the other 99 songs were.

The FAI board are a disgrace.

Dela’s proud legacy lives on :clap:t2:

Sadly we’ll be a while ridding the Irish sporting landscape of that apes legacy.
