Anyone else had Celtic Symphony stuck in their head since they heard it no?

i had until some cunt mentioned this

I know some vegans who will smack you for this

Speaking as the forums highly esteemed songwriting expert my worry here is whatever about old classics like Sean South and Celtic Symphony, which are clearly designed to blast out loud and pump your fists to, not to be taken too literally or seriously they will come after genuine tunes.

The likes of the Michaela song are clearly seperate and based on post GFA events that have nothing to do with the troubles. Itā€™s disturbing to think someone took time out of their lives to personalize human tragedy in such a way like that but we all know these sad scumbags exist alasā€¦ And theres a difference to a bunch of middle age beerguts in an orange lodge singing songs of hate designed specifically to offend than a bunch of deprived kids singing punk or Hip Hop wanting to cause offense

The context in which CS was sang yesterday in celebration, not hate, that much is obvious. Charlies subjects will be all out no doubt to opine it otherwise but what else would you expect from subjects.

Iā€™d be worried now there will be an official oireland backlash against some great old tunes. If they come for, Joe McDonell, one of the greatest songs ever written, I will personally smash a guiar off their fucking heads

But sure the vast majority of Irish people considered them terrorists. The PIRA were utterly hated here, even by many of the the men who fought in 1919-21, which is hardly a surprise given they routinely murdered their own people for daring to have a different view to them, as well as Protestant civilians, English civilians, even Australian civilians.

go to bed sid, weā€™re having fun

Itā€™s interesting to note you donā€™t consider Kingsmills, Enniskillen, Warrington, Omagh and all the rest of the horrible things the IRA did as terrorism.

I suppose itā€™s of a piece with your excuse making for genocide in Ukraine.

are you confused? Weā€™re having fun hereā€¦ nobody died. itā€™s not a culture warā€¦ songs were sung. Ireland qualified. Go to bed
