I really hope they do well for the sake of women’s sport. For a lot of young girls it’ll be their first time tuning in to watch an Ireland female team in anything. A few trimmings would not be good.

It is bollix. Nigeria are not in a great place due to they’re coach not being liked and trouble with bonus payments, but they are Ireland as an easy game.

They have a hard group as far as I’m aware. From what I’ve heard that Aussie team beat France 1-0 last week. The same French team who comfortably disposed of Vera’s charges 3-0 recently. Canada are usually one of the top teams too? Hard to see us finishing higher than 3rd.
