Ruud Van Nistelrooy has retired from professional football at the age of 35. I was pissed when he left United back in 2006. Some great memories of his goals at United. Did it at Real for a couple of seaons after he left United.
Thought it was a thread for Emile Ivanhoe Heskey
Iāll never forget all the important goals he scored for Don Fabio at Real Madrid in the 2006-2007 season.
He never did it is Serie A though

Utd ran him out >_>
Choice was him or Ronaldo given their stand off and Ruud had become a clown on the training ground.
Given the fact that Ronaldoās goal guided Utd to a Champions League title and three EPL titles before returning ā¬94m to the club I think it was a decision well taken.
And you called him a ālegendā. myoofc ran keane out too.
They are kind to their ālegendsā.
Thereās no room for sentimentality when it comes to winning.
Just ask Richard Dunne.
Ferguson turfed him out as he knew the club wasnāt big enough for two red noses
At least United have legends. City just cart out Vieira.

Denis law and his backheel will always be a legend
Ah lovely, only a day after the empire crumbled and myoofc fans are already pointing to their past. Its bubbling under shan, try keep holdā¦
United are stronger than last year sure. 9 points more than last season. It was just that you had a better goal difference at the end of 38 league games. Fergie has run off better men than Mancini thats for damm sure.
Law Best Charlton.
Mancini was scared for his life.
What stud will Ruud be retiring to?
Aye, he looked it alright shan. Enjoy mate, am off to watch a bit of the celebrations on SSN.
Not there in person.
Just watching the United player of the Year awards. Jim Rosenthal presenting.
Rio wants āourā title back next season.
I would be too if David Platt was the only thing between me and a vicious red nosed scottish thug.
