Retiring GAA Stars tribute thread - May cause brain/neck damage

  1. 50 50 guess on Antrim lad was wrong
  1. The Wexford fellow stumped me. I don’t think Wexford were ever on the telly in the 80s so that’s my excuse.

11 aswell - got Antrim one wrong also.

Knew 10 and the Wexford lad was a lucky guess

  1. That was simple.

He’ll probably announce a double-whammy, retiring from hurling with the county and standing in the Carlow/Kilkenny by-election which is coming up soon.
I’ll be trying to give something back to our loyal supporters I suppose”… Paul Murphy will probably attending anyway but is Henry gonna be an anti-austerity candidate…o_O

  1. Very easy.

Should we expect an article from Canice before or after the press conference @Sidney? I’d like to see it beforehand to see how similar it ends up being.

If Henry announced tomorrow that he would be rejoining the Kilkenny panel, it would be the greatest mugging off in the history of the world.

I would’t do nearly as well on current day hurlers… Or footballers.

12 simples, Dessie Donnelly

Fucking press conference…did ya ever hear the likes.

I doubt Henry gives a flying fuck whether he was “exciting” or “liked”. He’s a fucking genius, that’s what he is.

11/12, the Wexford hurler got me. Guessed the Antrim lad

A bunch of cretins not recognising an All Star Wexford hurler who also managed Wexford to Leinster senior hurling success in 2004.

I’d imagine he’s more famous as a furniture salesman.
