Meehan was at pains to say at the time that he wasn’t retiring. Be great to see him back. Galway ability to rise quickly legendary and the chances of a rise now looks like to begrowing by the day

Lost more AI’s than he won. Last won an AI 8 years ago. 
Very skilful player, great career but the fawning over him throughout the years was a bit OTT imo. Preferred watching the likes of Dara O’Se and Declan O’Sullivan personally.

In a game now dominated by gym monkeys natural footballers like him will be missed. A pure natural and a joy to watch every game i saw him in. Glad he recovered from that Tyrone keeper trying to gouge his eyes out that time.
