Did a Davy Byrne play in goal for Dublin footballers between John O Leary and Cluxton ?? Think he played v Kerry in thurles in 2001

Yes. He was the keeper between O Leary and Cluxton. Was there from about 99 to 02

I know he was certainly there in 2003

I think cluxton started in 2003 but not sure

He was definitely part of Tommy’s 2002 side anyway

Think I remember reading in the paper that he made his championship debut in 2001. Definitely remember him being on a Dublin poster in some GAA book in 2002 so he became a regular that year.

Living in Ratoath. Managed them to the County title last year after which the money men shafted him
