Good man for the big day. And the big moment

A man so reliable from frees that even a wayward GPS tracker couldn’t stop him winning an All-Ireland. May he enjoy retirement.

Not many get to leave on their own terms having kicked the final score (last touch) in an AI final win.

From snippets of information I have heard here and there, Deano is very much an alright sort.

All the best to him.

I’m not going to look it up but I believe he was incredibly efficient with frees and significantly better than any other free taker from top teams.

Hugely important cog on that great team

Solid as a Rock. Thanks for everything Dean

He would be. His father was a lovely man.

“was a lovely man”?

Dean worked in Stewarts in Palmerstown for a good while with disabled folk which is usually a good sign as to someone’s personality.

He has also attended GAA events outside of his own county and not looked for any money which is strange for a GAA star these days.

I don’t know much about Barney but Dean obviously didn’t lick it off a stone.

The only reason anybody knows the exact capacity of Croke Park is because Dean Rock counted all the seats there when on a summer job in the early 2000’s after the place was rebuilt.

GAA Heritage.

A decent sort that lad.
Is he from Ballymun or outside it?

He can focus fully on his free taking courses now to help other counties develop

A big push on in Ballymun this year with the new man installed. One more big day out in Croke beckons for Dean.

Brigid’s getting back to a final again all these years later has hit them hard.

When did this happen?

Last week.

The final of what?

Ohhh. That Brigids. I thought you meant the Dublin one.

How is the new appointment going down in Ballymun?

Who is the new man ?

I don’t know.
