Sheehy still looking fresh.

Looks as old now as he did in 91

Conor McManus. One of the greatest footballers to grace the game calls it a day.

Shameful it wasn’t on Rte.

One of the greats.

Monaghan’s greatest ever? Nudie Hughes was before my time so couldn’t comment. No contest in my lifetime

I’d be in the same boat, but I’ve a mad feeling even the lads in about their 60’s might mostly agree about McManus being the greatest.

Ray McCarron I’d say was the best Monaghan forward of that generation?

McManus is Monaghan’s greatest player and it isn’t close.

Not according to this

Jap

Cillian Buckley.

To break onto that Kilkenny team as a 20 year old in 2012 was fair tipping.

Injuries really curtailed him. A lovely stylish hurler

That winning goal in the Leinster final in 23 was iconic.

It finished Henry

Very good in his first few years. Injuries, loss of form, younger competitors derailed him.

The nature of that goal was in many respects the most heartbroken I ever was leaving Croker, even above All Ireland Final losses…until last weekend.
