Retiring GAA Stars tribute thread - May cause brain/neck damage
Proof if ever needed you are clueless.
Browne was up there with Gooch, Meehan, Brogan. An unbelievable footballer. He just didn’t have the support.
You really are a pathetic nordie cunt.
Can’t really comment much on Brown as I never really saw him play but the hyping up of him was over the top with what he actually did. A lot of people judge Brown subjectively but Paddy Bradley can back it up and there’s no way I’m having Declan Brown as a better footballer.

Are you Kevin in disguise?

Fuck you ya cunt. I have never tried to justify an opinion in such an outrageously bizarre way.

Wow! You really are that stupid and ignorant.

Nothing bizarre on basing an opinion on objective grounds but then again your natural inclination is to spoof.

Bahahahahaha :D:confused::confused: Jesus wept.

Seasoned, knowledgeable football watchers would agree that Bradley was better than Browne. And so were Coulter, Meehan, and Forde.

What have the other 3 got to do with anything?
Browne was deservedly picked

[]Paddy Bradley is the third highest scorer in Ulster Championship football, only Canavan and McConville have scored more and both had longer careers and played more games
[
]His intercounty career (1999-2012) spanned a golden period for Ulster football where three Ulster teams won All Irelands, a combined five in total. A further two reached semi-finals and another reached a final. So that’s 6 Ulster counties during that time period that made it to a minimum the last four which shows the strength of the Ulster Championship in that time period. You also had Monaghan who were an extremely competent team in that time as well and underachieved. This really solidifies how good Bradley was.
[*]Two of those seasons were missed through cruciate injuries.

What did Declan Browne ever do?

What is objective about picking one guy over someone you never saw?
I saw both, Not a whole pile in it really, but Browne was more two sided. Bradley was power and pace, Browne had some pace but he was all guile.

Bradley was as two footed a player as you’d see. He swung points over with his right foot at willful ease. What’s objective is that Bradley has a body of evidence behind him, Browne never really did anything at a high level and should be judged accordingly.

What lengths to go to, to make no point.
All those extra games in ulster against average opposition boost Bradley’s rates.
Browne was a one man team, literally.

 Christ

The point is obvious and what is more obvious is your complete ignorance of it.

Bradley operates on the exact same starting point as any other player in Ulster so I don’t know how they boost his “rates”, you imbecile. As I noted earlier, in Bradley’s career, 3 Ulster counties won 5 All Irelands between them, another Ulster county finished runners up and two others made it to the last four and Monaghan as I mentioned were a very capable team who could live with the best. This completely blows your theory out of the water about average Ulster team. Not only is your argument flawed but it is very wrong.

No way was Matty Forde better than Browne. I’m laughing more at the fact that Bomber thinks that Bradley was better without ever seeing Browne play anyway

How many live games did Browne feature in? The fact is he achieved fuck all in his career, there were plenty of players who were able to drag weaker counties onto the big stage, Browne never.

Matty Forde was an outstanding footballer, a very well respected former Armagh footballer maintains he was the toughest opponent he faced in his career.

It’s people’s objective opinion on who is the better player. Not how many medals they have or games they played in.
Matt Connor had his playing career tragically cut short and played far less and won far less than Mike Sheehy yet even Kerry people can’t separate the 2. Should Connors be withdrawn from the debate cos he played less?
With your ulster chip on your shoulder you just barged in with a ridiculous comparison that isn’t there.
Any right thinking person sees they your biased horseshit. The only support you get is from some browls who I have burned elsewhere.
If I said black Sid would say white, just like you. Grow up.

Which player was that, pal?
