Generally if the choices available to me are limited to the Heinekens / Carlsbergs of this world it means I’m at some class of event and will be drinking it out of a plastic cup anyway. I will there is nothing wrong with a pint of Heineken procured under the Old Stand in Thurles, nothing wrong with it at all.
There must be some crap in them though. You’d have less of a hangover drinking two pints of the Italian wine you buy in a petrol can than you would two pints of carlsberg
Surely you could buy that lot individually for less?

I’m the exact same… I’d go without… It’s absolute muck. I genuinely think most Irish aren’t drinking for taste or quality when they go for beers, they cant be…
we don’t have a culture of food and drink and this lends to a culture of accepting less .
