€145 to park a car for 4 days in the airport in June. I shall be getting a taxi.

In the short term car park. Surely half that in the red car park.
Half that but still twice what it will cost me to get a taxi to and from the airport. I’m flying at 6 in the morning so the red car park isn’t really an option.

Dated a woman a decade ago whose brother worked in the airport. The trick might be out of date. So, she drove to a certain hotel not far from the airport and pulled into their carpark. Then we went in and had breakfast there and held onto the receipt and we boarded the shuttle bus to the airport. Reckoned it was a tip from the relative and it always worked. Can’t remember now which hotel it was.
Yeah it’s scandalous but always found the red buses frequent even in the morning, unlike the other car parks. I’ve taken to getting lifts off pals/family and returning the favour if drop off/collection times ok. €45 for a taxi 15/20 mins away ffs.
Cost me 60e for a taxi to Gormanston, less than 20 minutes
I had to pay €50 for a taxi from the airport to Heuston last year to make the last train back to Limerick
It’s also a pain in the arse to have to inevitably queue for a taxi especially late evening flights.

Especially when you miss the aircoach by 2 minutes
I noticed when booking the flights for the summer holidays that Ryanair gave me the option to book the long term parking. I presumed it would be the same price but remarkably the Ryanair price for the red car park ended up being something like €30-40 cheaper than booking direct.
The wife booked ours on that love holidays website. Got a week of parking for 60 odd yoyos I think
I nearly booked the holiday through them actually but then I checked the flights and accommodation myself and saved another hundred or so. You can take the man out of Tipp etc. etc…

Jayses, we got a great deal. All in inclusive in sunny beach for €1100. First time in 22 years itll just be myself and herself

I’d imagine you’d all the fixtures factored in in advance. As it turns out, I’m gone the weekend between the quarter and semi finals but don’t think it’ll really matter either way this season for us unfortunately.
€4.25 for a take away flat white in Costa at the weekend… and a queue in the place. A horrible soulless looking spot too.
