First week in September for us. In fairness I did tell her if we pull it off, Im going on an absolute bender in Limerick for the week.

Electricity prices to both home and business are a disgrace. How the govt has ducked this one I just don’t know.

It’s unbelievable what’s being gotten away with now

It was pure out and out gouging of the highest order. But they knew/know they could do it.

They’re some cunts

Sure what are you going to do about it?
Fuck all

It’s just business.

Everyone would do the same.

Not a thing sure but its greed at the same time and its no harm to call it out. They make a nice cut off fertiliser as it was and if there was increased costs on their part they’d pass them on quick enough but when its the other way around they stuff their pockets.

Companies who have a monopoly will of course. Not everyone.

Fertilizer sales have reduced significantly over the last two years. So plenty have voted with their feet.

More have looked into efficiency, through better utilisation of organic fertilizer along with PH correction, and have managed to maintain output with a reduction in fertilizer spread. Clover is under the microscope in the test farms and has been encouraged also through grants.

A lot have clubbed together or even went alone depending on scale to hire an artic to go north for it.
We are a mighty little country to keep the Northern economy going

Yeah we got a doing from merchants on-top of the increase from the fertilizer plants. Those NI trucks brought the prices down very quickly. More than a few loaded trailers came in from France too

Anyone in a position of monopoly would.

That’s what people do.
