That’s a lovely story

Im always shocked when i go in there, and its always cos a visitor wants to experience temple bar… .
But its like most european cities, very few of the locals go to the old town square… you wont see any italians eating ice cream right beside the trevi fountain…

I was moaning to a US colleague (Detroit Lions fan) about the price of tickets for the autumn internationals last November and she started laughing when she heard the prices. She said prices for tickets for NFL playoff games would be starting at about 600 dollars.

I paid €103 to go see Bills v Jags in Spurs stadium two years ago

Comparing meaningless rugger friendlies to NFL playoffs.
Good God man, get a grip

I didn’t compare though? I was answering Julio’s question about cost of NFL tickets while including a very interesting anecdote about an interaction I had with a colleague.

The price of steak/beef is gone crazy. Two standard striploins up against a tenner now. How Larry Goodman is still living defies belief

Tickets for the opening game of the hotly anticipated Club World Cup started at 349 dollars.

Now they are 55

Isn’t the price of cattle gone crazy altogether and the main driver of it? Iv not heard a murmur from the farming community in a couple of years which suggests that there is plenty of money being made.
