Christ its Horrifying. Every parents worst nightmare. 3 girls being driven to results night out by one of their brothers. Unspeakable tragedy.

That sounds horrendous.

I met the chap who lost his daughter in Monaghan there a few weeks ago. Like what do you say?

Shocking stuff. :worried:

Ah no. That’s horrific.

That picture of the car overturned is chilling - fuck sake this life is fragile as fuck

Whole lives ahead of them. Awful stuff.

Should not have been printed.

Totally unacceptable.

Independent reporting four people in the car but no indication of status. Safe to say there are fatalities.

Didn’t see it printed anywhere. The usual WhatsApp’s

All four it seems

Awful news. Between the 2 lads out in Greece, the 2 girls up in Monaghan and now this, its a lot of tragedy for this leaving cert year. I dont ever recall seeing as many incidents with a post leaving holiday, debs and now leaving cert results night. Horrific for the families, all about to embark on a new chapter in life.

Shocking, RIP to them all.

This is a paragraph from the Independent. Needlessly over the top language.

Local reports indicated that the four, a driver and three passengers, suffered a combination of serious and critical injuries with several being pronounced dead before they could be transferred to hospital.

Pass that stretch of road few times a week. Theres a sharp turn if coming down from Mountain Rd towards town. Must have lost control coming down hill. At 7pm we were training and there was hailstones and torrential rain so could have been aqua planing. Absolutely devastating news and all the more profound with it being so close to home. Cant bear to think about the young lives snuffed out like a light. Today was probably the biggest day in their young lives and meant to be a rite of passage. God bless the firefighters, guards and ambulance staff and most of all their families.

All over the country these guys are attending incidents like this every day - thankfully many not as tragic. They just do it because someone has to. Utmost respect.
