Thereā€™s nothing comparable about winning a group and coming 3rdā€¦

Ghana mugged Egypt off bigly in the play-offs for the last World Cup when Bob Bradley was managing Egypt.

The African draw is very intriguing.

Algeria, Nigeria and Cameroon are all in the same group with only one to go through.

Hector Cuper managing Egypt.

Big night in the Burj al Arab in Alexandria as the Pharaohs win 2-0.

Any decent games on tomorrow night?

Thailand 2-2 Australia. FT.

Australia third in their group after 5 games, a point behind joint leaders Saudi Arabia and Japan.

Any of you blokes down under able to explain how many go through, whether thereā€™s a play-off etc etc?

Is England-Spain only being shown live in the British & Irish Isles on ITV?

Both 3rd place teams play off against each other; winner players the 4th team from North & Central America.

Youā€™d imagine itā€™ll be someone like Honduras, Panama or Trinidad & Tobago who Australia would fancy themselves against.

Sublime interception and assist by King Luis for Cavani has Uruguay 1-0 in Chile, who are struggling in the league table, after 33 minutes.

Argentina, needing a win after being thrashed by Brazil, are 2-0 up on Colombia after 35 minutes.

Leo Messi has either scored or assisted 9 of the Argies last 11 goals.

Nowhere to be seen when Brazil were handing them their arses on Friday night.

Did you watch the game?

USA down 4-0 to Costa Rica. Klinsmann out, hasnā€™t a clue.

I think it would be more appropriate to explain how the fuck they nearly lost to Thailand Ffs.
They donā€™t half make it hard on themselves.
They should be following the example of countries with 2nd tier players available awhile have honed themselves into a brilliant playing group, more than the sum of their parts. Like the Republic of Ireland for example.

Rumours of a $400k team win bonus to lift the morale of a nation after their kingā€™s death.

Obviously, the ā€œstill 'n allā€¦ā€ response applies.
