ROI v's AZE & SRB

Why do they have to be approached? You should not have to be asked to play for Ireland. Look at Mark Sykes, approached the FAI to make himself available and gave up an international career with Norn Iron in the process. If your fellow Tyrone men want to take the Norn Iron soup then let them off.

They’re 17/18.

Sykes played for the O6 up until he was 20. McClean and Duffy similarly.

And? Bradley comes from a GAA background, should not be even in his head to play for Norn Iron.

You can be British and play GAA

Caoimhin Kelleher is older than Gianluigi Donnarumma

We can add professional football to the things you have no understanding of.

Things have changed, the O6 are now trying to tie down these kids as 17/18 year olds by capping them at senior level. Had the same agenda been in operation when Duffy, McClean etc were coming through then they wouldn’t be playing for Ireland.

Young players need that international recognition to forge a career in football, any agent will be telling his player how vital it is to get international recognition at that age, you wouldn’t understand that as you don’t get football.

Ireland have to be aggressive in trying to get these players, to make them feel valued and they now have to ask with haste as the IFA learned their lessons on McClean and Duffy.

Niall McGinn was quite open in the past that he wanted to play for Ireland but they never made any efforts to cap him or get him to change, likewise Paddy McCourt. They were never approached and it’s disappointing that the FAI are now abandoning Northern based players.

The IFA and Ireland are the team that have represented the whole island of Ireland since the 1870’s. The Eire soccer team and the FAI were a partitioninist creation in the 1920’s.

What do we actually get out of having good relations with the IFA?

McClean would never have played at senior level for Norn Iron.

How do you know?

He played at youth level for them. International honours opens up some doors for you as a young footballer.

It’s clear as day you haven’t the first notion what you’re talking about here. Clueless.

What’s Norn Iron? Do you mean Ireland?

you’re allowed called Ireland by it’s proper name now after the Good Friday agreement you horrible English prick

You keep skiving around the fact that your fellow countymen take the Norn Iron soup. Truth hurts.

I’m just showing you as a clueless buffoon. If you want to diverting away from that with the same ignorant point then it’s as well you have a word with yourself in the mirror.

Answer the question, what do you think of your fella county men taking the Norn Iron soup?

I think it’s a failing of the FAI who are not approaching these players. Any young footballer will be encouraged by their representative to get international honours for the sake of their career. Little any northern born player can do if the ROI don’t approach them to play.

Now maybe you will address the questions I asked.

How do you know McClean would have turned down a senior international callup at 17/18?

Because he is a proud Irishman unlike your boys.

I asked how do you know?

He played for Northern Ireland up until the age of 20.

I played football to a decent level, you clearly have little notion about what you’re talking about. It’s very evident that you are a complete halfwit with nothing of any interest of intelligence to offer.

You need to brush up on your soccer history. The Partionist FAI team set up in the 1920’s is Eire. The IFA team that has represented the whole island of since the 1880’s is Ireland.

@ChairmanDan being roundly ignored on this
