ROI v's AZE & SRB

There is no case of being pro Delaney.

Eh there is, consistently punched above their weight under Dela’s stewardship, two Euro qualifications - great nights against the likes of Germany, Italy and France.

Some people have short memories.

I see you weren’t able to make a reasonable argument to contend my points.

He did well at the start. He gave the ball away an awful lot though. Some really poor passing.

He was slack ok at times and let’s be honest he is limited but he helped set a tempo in second half .

Can I just ask why Jamie McGrath didn’t feature at all against Azerbaijan?

good question

@EstebanSexface ?

Lads, anywhere you can get tickets for Tuesday night apart from Ticketmaster? They’ve only got 100 quid ones available. Are kids tickets usually only available through clubs or do they go on general sale too?

Immediate actions required:

Bring back Dela to get us out of this rut
Give Ruud Dokter an enhanced contract

I reckon Ryan Giggs would take the gig for the same package Kenny is on. Would instantly have the backing of the Irish United footexs and has international and premier league managerial experience. I can’t see any drawback

Nah kids ones are usually available in Ticketmaster too

There are a handful of individual tickets available if you select individually instead of pairs. I’d try and get a couple individually for same general area (same access route) and then just sit together.

Was Giggs ever convicted or is it still to go to trial?

Be great if he went to jail. **

** As long as he’s guilty

The FAI and the Eire soccer community have always been partitionist.

Assume will revert to same starting xi as Portugal game with O’Shea replaced

Gibson, McClean, Duffy, Wilson among others all played underage for Northern Ireland before switching over to the ROI once they were approached.

Why have the FAI now stopped doing this? The IFA are now trying to rush young players into their first international cap in order to tie them to the national team so the FAI should be acting with far more haste if they want the best born Irish players representing them.

I think it typifies the mismanagement in the FAI since Dela left the helm.

Think there is now some class of “gentleman’s agreement” where the FAI are not trying to get lads to declare

International sport is not the place for gentleman’s agreements.

The old adage “Be careful what you wish for” has never be so appropriate than the anti-Dela crew who got what they wanted and these are the results.
