Nadal turns 28 today. In tennis terms he’s now in his veteran years. Back injuries are a common affliction for tennis players in their latter years. Its the constant accumulation of twisting and rotation. Federer has been playing with a bad back for 5 years.
Murray and Djokovic will turn 28 next year so I don’t think age is that big an issue for him, probably needs some proper rest on his back injury though. After Wimbledon I’d like to see him take about a month out.
