Rose of Tralee 2009

I arrest my case…
Are you Neanderthals not aware of classic love stories such as that from Jane Austen’s Emma where the eponymous heroine falls in love with her best friend for years, Mr Knightley? It was staring her right in the face for years but she never realised it.
I know a couple of birds who are ‘just mates’. One such bird became something more a while back and I got a bit fucked around as a result.

Not good.
Hard to know if it’s ever a good idea.

It generally isn’t. It becomes fairly obvious from an early stage if your into a bird or she’s into you. If you are mates with her for a long time then she is definitely not into you IMO. Most birds will have done something about it over time if they were into you, most blokes would have done something stupid while drunk as well.

Stay well away, unless in the rare case ye are both very very shy and reserved people and neither of ye had the balls to do anything about it.*

*Obviously we don’t really wanting her to have actual balls

Bit of casual sex no harm though, between friends surely

You’d think that, but a good mate of mine has been with a girl for three years now and they had been friends in college for three years before that with nothing ever happening. Lots of mutual friends as well. He’s from a family of girls though and was always the friendly with the girls type.

Looks like it’ll be staying in Kerry for once this year

firstly emma is a pile of cock, i had the misfortune of having that and peig stuffed down my neck for the leaving or in other words two literary forms of torture starting one starting with “here i am now with one foot in the grave and one on the side” or “Emma Woodhouse, handsome, clever, and rich.”

both of them were atrocious reads

classic me hole:mad:

This Perth rose would be my sort of woman. Out of my league, but my sort of woman nonetheless.
