I know there’s a lot going on in the world, but it was remiss of me not to mark the appointment of Ailbhe Conneely as RTE’s new Social Affairs & Religion correspondent. She replaces wily veteran Joe Little, who’s presumably retired. Joe will be remembered for solemnly sitting across from Dobbo and Sharon during Six One and talking through the church scandal of the day.
