Rugby Players Rape Trial

I do wonder though… what if both parties are severely intoxicated… That’s a grey area to me…

The closing arguments will be interesting, Mr Hedworth has gone from meek when grilling PJ, to becoming increasing inscenced and scathing in the last few days when grilling BM and RH, I’m expecting he will give an excellent oration in the coming days

Your meltdown is going to be spectacular when these lads are acquitted.

I’m expecting them to be acquitted, so not really.

Prosecution up first, then each of the defendants will have a closing speech… then the prosecution will have the option for a concluding speech… they will have been instructed by the judge at this point on the directions the jury will have been given…e.g. what inferences, if any, can be drawn from no comment interviews, if they can reach a verdict by majority or unanimously…etc…

Sounds like it is driving you demented and you’re still hoping against hope for the bastards to go down. You won’t be able to help yourself, the outrage will pour out.

Very good, thanks for that info, looking forward to the conclusion!

I would be shocked if they were found guilty to be honest. So no, not tat tall. I can still hope, but I won’t be “crushed”… it’s to be expected, hunzo.

Will be interesting alright!

@Rocko, I think there’s a glitch in the software. I’ve just read the last 100 posts that are tagged as last 24 hours but I’m pretty sure they’re from a week or two ago as I’m 99% sure I’ve read them all before.

Hi

I think those two jokers should get a room at this stage.

When is this shit show over?

Toby going at it now.

Is that a direct quote from the victim?

“What happened in his (Paddy Jackson’s) bedroom, we submit, is a throwback to the days of male entitlement”.

Preach… :sunglasses:

Is that from the prosecution or the defence,?
