Well that’s a point well made

As in…I feel like judge believes her but again, that’s just the way it reads. She’s balanced about why both sides may have inconsistencies and did stick up for the defendants regarding the fact they are of good character. Plus strict guidelines that if they are not sure, they must acquit. Ah feck it, I don’t know, I just DON’T know!

Aye, seemed fair enough. Apart from the bit about the police -which I may have mentioned a few times…
Are you as sure now?

Judges have to tick a lot of boxes in charging a jury to safeguard themselves against an appeal. They have to lay it on strong about presumption of innocence, burden of proof, reasonable doubt, benefit of the doubt to the accused. Once you strip away all that, judges generally charge juries to convict.

What will the chaps do as they’re waiting for the verdict, I wonder?

I think they should go to Soul Food cafe and chill out together, just for old time’s sake, and in case they don’t get another chance (potentially for a good few years at least).

Would a trip to Ollie’s tonight be too much, presuming the jury don’t reach a verdict by then? Like a stag night, a final night of freedom. JACOME rides again.

Sure of their guilt?

You can definitely imagine McIlroy having the brass neck to text Dara to see if she wants to meet up tonight.

And when she doesn’t reply/tells him to fuck off a second time he’ll tell all his fellow accused tomorrow morning he still got the ride. “Pumped her.”

“Fancy a Colonel’s bargain bucket at KFC?”

McIlroy is more likely to spend a Florence Night In Jail than meet his Florence Nightingale ever again.

The jurors are back in the house.

One of them presumably, has anyone Dara’s phone number

Question 5
Can a juror come to a verdict based on a reason that was not presented in court and has no facts or evidence to support it, either from the prosecution or defence?

She’s contactable via Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.

Are they on to Harrison already?
