Caoimhaoin, something that I have always found curious about the spelling of your name. Can you explain how the Gaelic convention ‘caol le caol leathan le leathan’ doesn’t apply to the Gaelic spelling of the name Kevin? With ‘i’ being slender (caol) and ‘a’ being broad (leathan) I fear your name may in fact be illegal. Can you shed any light on this apparent anomaly?

Not really, my irish wouldn’t be up to that to be fair. It’s not my first name, but for some reason it was written that way on the birth cert, and i presumed it was the way it was. I only saw a different spelling of it a few years ago when that Meath footballer King came on the scene. I asked the parents and they said it was just the way it was written down.

Delighted to see the Monster Rogbee franchise lose out and it will be with a skip in my step that I will go to work tomorrow. The weekend rogbee fans wont be around until the morning so I can have a beer tonight safe in the knowledge that they will talk about anything else tomorrow.
