Maurice Field must have been pretty old when he was called into the Ireland team for his debut at Twickenham in '94, I think he was more like 30 than 33 though

Kenny O’Connell another back rower who made his only start for Ireland in Paris, in 1994. He picked up just one more cap off the bench in the 13-12 win at Twickenham a few weeks later.

I think I’d be right in saying that David Corkery was awarded the coveted title of Ireland’s best player at the 1995 World Cup by RTE

His article in the Evening Echo after the Japan game last week was utterly scathing
